Well, firstly, it’s important to look at your space as a whole (even if you only want one small area designed) and consider how it sits alongside your home, in its neighbourhood and the wider landscape.
I take these things into account and also look at the history of the site, what was there before, what surrounds it now and aim to get a real sense of its place. A thorough site analysis is undertaken.
This information along with your wish list, your likes and dislikes, and what you want from the space, will help me start to put together mood boards and ideas for us to discuss.
Any amendments or changes will be made along the way before coming up with a master layout plan.
